In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day,  we wanted to share one of our favorite protein smoothie recipes with you that will give your body the fuel it needs, tastes awesome and is green!

The health benefits from each ingredient are abundant in every sip.

Coconuts are highly nutritious and rich in fiber, vitamins C, E and B. Unlike cow’s milk, coconut milk is lactose free and can be used as a substitute for those with lactose intolerance.

Bananas are rich in potassium, high in fiber and are an excellent source of vitamin B. They reduce stress levels and contain natural compounds that help to boost the body with natural energy.

Spinach is a super food loaded with tons of nutrients, protein, iron, vitamins and minerals. It is an excellent source of dietary fiber and helps promote skin, hair, bone health.

Mint helps your body digest food, is a natural stimulant, aids in weight loss and helps your body burn fat.


2 cups of unsweetened coconut milk
2 bananas
1 ½ cups of spinach
½  cup of mint leaves
4 pitted dates
1 scoop vanilla protein powder

Blend until smooth and serve with green-and-white paper straws to make it even more festive for St. Paddy’s Day!
