Apple Pie Smoothie Bowl

A thick and rich festive fall bowl packed with 30G of protein to help you recover after your workout. Fresh apples and low-fat greek yogurt make this bowl feel like such a treat! 

A powerful high speed blender works best, but if f you don’t have one, you may want to add 1/4 cup almond milk ( or milk of your choice) or water.

 

1 medium apple sliced into small pieces ( set a few pieces aside to add to top of bowl)

¾  cup unsweetened almond milk or milk your prefer 

¼  cup plain low-fat greek yogurt 

1 scoop BUILTBYSTRENGTH VANILLA WHEY PROTEIN

¼ cup quick oats 

½  teaspoon ground cinnamon

⅛  teaspoon ground nutmeg

3-4 cubes of ice

3-4 drops of stevia if you prefer a sweeter drink 

 

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a powerful blender. 
  2. Blend until mixture in smooth – the mixture should be very thick to scoop up easily with a spoon.  
  3. Pour into a small bowl and sprinkle with extra cinnamon, apple slices and any other toppings you love! I love adding granola and chia seeds to mine for extra crunch.
