This is by far the easiest and most delicious protein ice cream recipe we’ve come across. You can add your favorite protein flavor to make yourself the perfect ice cream! We love cookies and cream ice cream, so we always save a few calories to add cookie crumbles on top. The possibilities are endless, and your wallet will love the savings from the high priced items in the frozen section at the grocery store.
1 cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
1 packet stevia (use 2 packets for sweeter flavor)
¼ teaspoon vanilla extract
*FOR COOKIES & CREAM ICE CREAM – CRUMBLE COOKIES ON TOP BEFORE SERVING. DO NOT BLEND COOKIES OR THEY WILL COMBINE WITH THE LIQUID.
- Combine all ingredients in a large measuring cup and whisk vigorously until completely combined. Pour into the pre-frozen canister of your ice cream maker and churn until the ice cream is solid – about 25 minutes. Serve right away for best texture.
++ No ice cream maker? Pour the mixture into an ice cube tray and freeze until solid. Once solid pop the cubes into a blender with as much almond milk as needed to make a creamy ice cream texture.
